6/12 - Celebrity Circus: It Ain't No Circus Of The Stars!

So there's the group photo for the new NBC show, Celebrity Circus. Now, can you pick out any celebrities in there? Okay, there's Peter Brady-- I mean, Christopher Knight-- and the former Mrs. Rod Stewart-- I mean, Rachel Hunter. Other than that, I don't see a lot of celebrities in there. Blu Cantrell? Antonio Sabato, Jr.? If you have to look them up on the Google, I'm guessing that's not a good sign for your celebrity status. Of course, they're still listed on the Google, so that's something, I guess.
It's not like Circus Of The Stars, though. Remember that spectacle of 70's TV? Ah, yes. I fondly remember the McNicols-- Kristy and older brother, Jimmy-- doing a magic act. Jimmy was going to do the 'ol saw-the-lady-in-half routine on Kristy, and I, being only around 10 at the time, was horribly concerned some actual harm was going to befall Kristy. Had a little crush on the Eight Is Enough star, I did. Nothing happened, of course, except that was another hour I put off doing my homework. And even though last night was the series finale for Men In Trees, (which means I'm looking for another show to fit in my viewing line-up), I don't think I'll be watching much of the new Celebrity Circus, though. If you get some actual celebs, though, NBC, call me! |
