Okay, okay, lame headline, I know. But here is Country Jam USA headliner Carrie Underwood, hittin' the diamond for a good cause. (Maybe she'd like to head down to ballpark at Carson Park after the show. I'd volunteer to show her around... Hey, just trying to help!
Carrie Underwood batters up at the 2008 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge presented by the Gibson Foundation in Nashville, Tennessee last Wednesday. The 25-year-old singer was the lead-off batter for the Grand Ole Opry Live team at Nashville’s Greer Stadium and got a walk in the first inning! Unfortunately, Carrie’s team lost 8-1 behind the pitching of Jo Dee Messina who was dominant during the game.
