7/31 - Digital 'Enhancements': Those Who Won't; Those Who Should

We were talking yesterday about how the lovely Keira Knightley doesn't want the studio PR folks digitally, um, enhancing those movie posters promoting her upcoming film, The Duchess.  Seems back in 2004, the studio in charge of producing the posters for the film King Arthur took matters into their own hands and made the lovely Ms. Knightley a little, uh, curvier than she actually is. Here are the before/after pictures from King Arthur...

"Those things certainly weren't mine," Keira told interviewers back in  2006. According to Knightley, the studio marketing team was behind her suddenly C-cup look, but she did give final approval on the photos.  This time, though, she says things are staying all natural.  Good for her, I say.  She's an incredibly talented actress-- and incredibly beautiful the way she is.  Now, if there is a celebrity who might benefit from a little airbrushing, take a look at the shot of Madonna and daughter Lourdes...

Now, certainly we've all had our share of less-than-flattering photos taken (especially when one's exhibiting a goofy expression), but, come on, Madonna-- grab a burger!  Put some meat on those arms!  Enough working out, already!  You're starting to look like Skeletor!
